This year the Open Courseware Consortiums Global meeting http://conference.ocwconsortium.org/2014/
was held in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana,
as always it was another great event and saw participants from multiple sectors
including academia, government and commercial. The theme of the conference was
“Open Education for a Multicultural World” and so was particularly relevant for
the work of TESS-India working in multiple states within India and collaboratively
with UK and Indian academics.

The conference keynote saw Slovenian Minister for education
Jernej Pikalo launching new initiative ‘Opening up Slovenia’ introducing
openness into Slovenia enabling teachers and students alike to gain access to
new methods of teaching and learning. The
